NPR is excited to announce the reinstatement of their internship program for the Fall 2025 season! This program has long served as a valuable learning opportunity for individuals aspiring to enter public media. Past interns have played a vital role in NPR's daily operations, contributing to and learning from experienced newsroom and organizational colleagues.

The NPR internship program offers a unique opportunity to:

📍 Locations and Hours

• Work Options: Internships are offered onsite, fully remote, or as a hybrid of the two, depending on the team's structure. Specific details are provided in individual internship postings.
• Hours: Internships are typically full-time (40 hours per week), though flexibility exists on a role-to-role basis. Part-time opportunities will be indicated in the job postings.

💰 Benefits of the NPR Internship

• Compensation: All interns are paid $20.00 per hour.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the NPR internship program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a current student (enrolled in an accredited degree program) or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to the start of the internship. High school students are not eligible.
• Be authorized to work in the United States. For internships with remote flexibility, applicants must reside in the United States for the duration of the internship.
