π’ About National Peace Corps Association
The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) is a global alumni network representing nearly 250,000 Americans who have served in the U.S. Peace Corps across 144 countries since 1961. With over 80,000 members, NPCA has been advocating at national and state levels to ensure a stronger and more effective agency since 1981.
Through advocacy, networking, skills-building activities, publications, and a commitment to service, NPCA promotes peace, friendship, and volunteerism in partnership with the global community. It addresses the needs of current and returning Volunteers, supports Returned Peace Corps Volunteersβ service projects across the U.S., and provides resources and guidance to over 150 Peace Corps affiliate groups.
NPCA's mission is to increase and demonstrate the impact of its members beyond their Peace Corps service and help strengthen communities nationwide.

π Benefits of the Fellowship
- Fellows will receive a $5,000 stipend.
β Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in journalism, editorial work, or digital content creation. (Graduate students with relevant work experience and/or skills may also be considered.)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and strategies (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Experience editing photos and video content for online and print.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote team setting.
- Familiarity with the Peace Corps community or international service is a plus.
