📝 About Third Wave Fund - Mobilize Power Fund

The Mobilize Power Fund is a rapid response fund that prioritizes organizations addressing specific incidents or changes in circumstances that have occurred within the last six months. Examples of supported activities include:

• Rapid response mobilizations
• Healing justice work
• Conflict resolution or transformation
• Community accountability
• Mutual aid
• Direct actions
• Emergency safety, security, and defense needs

💰 Benefits of the Mobilize Power Fund

• Grants of up to $10,000 USD are available for individual organizations.
• Partnerships or coalitions of two or more groups can request up to $20,000 USD.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Mobilize Power Fund, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be gender justice organizations based in the United States or U.S. territories, including:
  • American Samoa
  • Guam
  • Northern Mariana Islands
  • Puerto Rico
  • U.S. Virgin Islands
• Be rooted in and accountable to communities impacted by gender oppression.
• Not eligible: Individuals, non-community-based service models, and groups outside the eligible regions.

How to Apply:

1. Visit proteus.fluxx.io.

2. Login or create an account:

   • Returning applicants & grantees: Use the "Forgot Password" function with your email address to reset your password and access your account.
   • New applicants:
     • Click "Register Now" at the bottom right of the screen.
     • Complete the registration form and submit it.
     • Verify your email (link valid for 24 hours) and set up a password.
     • Log in and click on "Open Grant Opportunities" in the left menu. Select "Third Wave Fund - Mobilize Power Fund" to begin your application.

3. Follow the instructions to complete and submit your application.

   • Returning applicants will have their organizational information auto-populated, which can be updated as needed.
   • Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email, and your application will be listed under "Submitted Requests."

4. Timeline:

   • Grants are typically approved 4 weeks after the deadline.
   • Funds are released within 5-8 weeks after the deadline.
   • Applicants will be notified of the decision within 4-6 weeks of the application deadline.
