The MENA Program for Integrated Water Resources Management is now accepting applications. This program aims to train experts in the concepts of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), equipping them with technical, managerial, and intercultural skills to address water crises and foster development in the Arab region.

The program is designed to:
- Train experts in IWRM concepts.
- Provide knowledge in technical and managerial aspects of water resources.
- Familiarize participants with project funding, international cooperation, and intercultural communication.
- Prepare experts for projects between Europe and Arab countries, emphasizing cultural, linguistic, and political understanding.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this program:
- Holds at least a bachelorβs degree.
- Has working experience in the water sector.
- Is fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Is highly motivated to contribute to solving water crises and fostering development in the Arab region.
- Aspires to build a career in the international water sector.

- Obligatory semester abroad at the German Jordanian University (GJU), Amman.

- Degree awarded: Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management (M.Sc.).
β Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelorβs degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Economics, or Social Sciences).
- Have at least two years of relevant professional experience after graduation.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record (above-average results in the first degree).
- Prove English proficiency:
- IELTS (Band 6)
- TOEFL (minimum 550 paper-based / 213 computer-based / 80 internet-based)
- The degree should not be older than six years.
- Be employed in a public authority, state, or private company in a developing country involved in development-related projects.
- Show motivation linked to development and a willingness to assume social responsibility.
- Have current or past work experience in institutions/projects with a development-related focus.
