📖 About Lazord Foundation Fellowship
The Lazord Fellowship is a multi-dimensional program designed to:
- Empower fellows with a deeper understanding of civic engagement.
- Enhance leadership and technical skills.
- Provide mentoring, job opportunities in organizations advancing the common good, and enriched educational experiences.
🎁 Benefits of Lazord Foundation Fellowship
As a Lazord Fellow, you will:
- Be hosted for one year in a local organization.
- Receive a living stipend (based on local living costs).
- Participate in a minimum of 18 training sessions led by influential civil society leaders and professional trainers on topics such as:
- Civil society
- Management
- Leadership
- Team building
- Management skills, and more.
- Receive monthly mentoring sessions with professional mentors experienced in civil society.
- Collaborate on a research project in a team of 3 to 4 people.
- Gain networking opportunities with professionals and influential individuals from local and international sectors.
- Attend the annual opening and closing International Conferences with fellows from all four participating countries.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Lazord Foundation Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a university graduate from any field.
- Have graduated in 2024 or later.
- Demonstrate a proven record of civic engagement.
- Be proficient in English.
- Commit to a one-year full-time fellowship starting September 2026.
- Be available to attend the annual International Conference in October 2026.
- Have local residency status and authorization to work in the country of the fellowship.
- For male applicants from Egypt:
- Be exempt from military service, or
- Have already received a certificate of exemption, or
- Have completed military service.
