📖 About inSIG Fellowship
The 2025 edition of the India School on Internet Governance (inSIG) marks the 10th edition of this prestigious event. It is hosted jointly by the inSIG consortium, which includes Internet Society India Chapters from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Trivandrum, and BITS Pilani, Goa.

🎁 Benefits of inSIG Fellowship
inSIG2025 offers the following Fellowship categories:

Indian Fellows (25 seats, including 1 reserved for specially-abled persons):
- Travel reimbursement up to 10,000 INR (on submission of travel bills)
- Twin-sharing accommodation
- Food
- Event fee waiver
- Note: The Fellowship committee's decision regarding travel reimbursements will be final.

- Twin-sharing accommodation
- Food
- Event fee waiver
- No travel support.

inSIG Alumni:
- Returning fellows are welcome to apply.
- Seats depend on available funds.
- Twin-sharing accommodation and food provided.

ISOC Chapter Fellows (approximately 5 seats):
- Internally selected from Indian Chapters organizing inSIG 2025.
Additional Information:
- Accommodation and dinner will be provided to all fellows starting 18 September 2025 (Day 0) afternoon.
- Hotel checkout timings: Morning or by 12:00 noon on Day 3 (21 September 2025).
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Indian Fellows:
- Any individual from India, representing any stakeholder community (Government/IGO, Private/Business sector, Civil Society, Media, Academia, or Technical).
- Must have an interest in Internet Governance and have contributed or wish to contribute to IG processes.
International Fellows:
- Open to individuals from any part of the world.
📅 Application Date and Process
- Application Period: 18 June 2025 to 13 July 2025
- Results Announcement: 25 July 2025 (on the inSIG website)
Selection Criteria:
- Fellowship applicants will be selected to ensure diversity in stakeholder representation, gender, geography, and culture.
- Local participants from Goa will be selected through a separate local process. Note: No travel or accommodation will be provided to local participants.

Benefits
- Indian Fellows (25 seats that includes 1 seat reserved for specially-abled persons) with travel reimbursement of maximum 10,000 INR (on submission of travel bills), twin-sharing accommodation, food, and inSIG event fee waiver.
- International Fellows (15 seats) with twin-sharing accommodation, food, and inSIG event fee waiver but with no travel support.
- inSIG Alumni are also welcome to apply for the current edition of inSIG. The number of seats will depend on the funds available. Returning fellows would be provided with twin sharing accommodation and food but no travel support.
- ISOC Chapter Fellows (about 5), to be internally selected from Indian Chapters who are jointly organising inSIG 2025.
