🌟 About Grow Wild Community Programme
The Grow Wild Community Programme supports non-profit organisations in creating positive change in urban spaces across the UK through community-led growing activities. Projects must:
- Use UK native plants or fungi.
- Enhance local wildlife habitats.
- Actively involve local residents in transforming community spaces.
🎁 Benefits of Grow Wild Community Programme
Participants in the programme will receive the following benefits:
- £2000 grant to transform an urban space with UK native plants or fungi, support wildlife, and involve your local community.
- Online knowledge-sharing sessions to connect with other groups and receive support from experts, including special guests from Kew. (Note: Groups keen to engage with these sessions are encouraged to apply.)
- £500 Follow-on Grant for spring 2027 to support ongoing activities (subject to an optional application once your project is underway).
✅ Requirements for Participation
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a constituted non-profit organisation, such as:
- Charities
- Voluntary/community organisations
- Not-for-profit companies
- Community Interest Companies
- Charitable Incorporated Organisations
- Community Benefit Societies
- Deliver projects in urban environments (settlements of 10,000+ inhabitants) within the UK.
