📖 About the Competition

The GCA My Adaptation Solution Video Competition 2025 aims to spotlight innovative solutions that address climate challenges, including breaking the heat cycle, safeguarding water resources, and protecting communities from droughts and floods. Participants are encouraged to share their creative, NDC-aligned adaptation solutions through a one-minute video.

Theme:

"The heat is on - youth powering adaptation solutions through Nature-based Solutions, Water, Education & Advocacy, and Climate-Resilient Agriculture."

This is an opportunity to reshape how we live, farm, and build in an increasingly warming world.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To participate, applicants must:

Be 18-35 years old and actively engaged in the fight against climate change.
Have developed an innovative and creative adaptation solution.

🎥 Video Guidelines

Participants must adhere to the following guidelines for their video submissions:

Videos must not include images of individuals under 18 years old unless parental or guardian consent has been obtained.
Videos should be a maximum of 60 seconds in duration.
Videos must be submitted in MP4 format.
Videos should be filmed vertically.
The video should include the following information:
- Name
- Country
- Climate change impacts
- Adaptation solution
- Concluding sentence: "The heat is on, and we're the adaptation solutions."
