π’ About the Program
The Youth Futures Foundation β Future Voices Group Ambassadors Program 2026 is designed for young people aged 18β24 living in England. This program provides opportunities to influence policy, employers, and decision-makers on youth employment issues. Ambassadors act as advisors, storytellers, and representatives for young people facing barriers to work.

- Β£14.80 per hour (London Living Wage)
- 10 hours per month (with potential for additional hours)
β Eligibility Criteria
The program is keen to recruit young people who have experience of or identify with any of the following:
- Taking a vocational pathway to work (i.e., not university)
- Currently undertaking a Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship
- Receiving Universal Credit/benefits or engaging with the Jobcentre
- Experience in the care system (having been βin careβ, sometimes called being βlooked afterβ)
- Experience in the justice system (interactions with police, courts, prison, or probation services)
- Facing discrimination when trying to find work based on race or ethnicity
- Being autistic
- Having a learning disability or learning difficulties
- Having a mental health condition
- Having a long-term health condition
Additional Considerations
Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals:
- From ethnically minoritised backgrounds, especially those of Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Black Caribbean, or Black African heritage
- With refugee or asylum seeker status

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted for a one-hour group meeting with other applicants on Zoom (between 25 February and 6 March).
- The meeting will be a supportive, informal discussion where youβll learn more about the program, share your experiences and ideas, and ask questions.
