The Flinders University-First Nations Scholarship Program has been developed in collaboration with Professor Valerie Cooms, a Quandamooka woman and Director of the Centre of Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at The Australian National University. Application assessments are conducted by Iberdrola Australia in conjunction with Professor Valerie Cooms.

🎁 Benefits of the Scholarship Program

• Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $15,000 per annum.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a domestic student currently residing in Australia.
• Be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
• Have completed at least one full year of successful study in the relevant discipline.
• Maintain successful completion of each semester during the scholarship award period, meaning a minimum “Pass” result in each subject studied in a semester, with no failures.
• Be studying one of the following disciplines:
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Science and/or Management
  • Social Science
  • Science
  • Data Science
  • Information Technology (Data, Architecture, Cybersecurity)
  • Business (Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Finance)
  • Commerce
  • Law
• Be an undergraduate student studying full-time.
