The FASPE Design and Technology (D&T) Fellowship examines the motivations and conduct of technologists and designers in enabling and executing Nazi policies. The program uses historical examples to help fellows understand their roles and responsibilities as designers of built environments. It encourages participants to identify and confront ethical issues currently facing architects, engineers, designers, and other technologists today.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements

• Applicants must be actively pursuing a career in architecture, design, computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar field.
• Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:
  1. Graduate Students: Enrolled in a graduate program in design, architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, computer science, statistics and applied math, electrical engineering, or a closely related field at the time of application.
  2. Professionals: Have completed their undergraduate degree and have been working in the associated fields for five years.

Ideal Candidate

• Fellows should be about to begin their professional careers and be interested in engaging in discussions with their peers and instructors.
• Applicants must demonstrate intellectual and emotional maturity to discuss challenging and contentious matters professionally and respectfully in small groups.
