β Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Emory University Scholar Programs, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Open to all citizens of foreign countries who are not permanent residents of the United States (living in the US or abroad).
- Admission Decision Plan: Applicants must choose one of the three admission decision plans:
- Early Decision I
- Early Decision II
- Regular Decision
- Application Submission: Submit all required application materials by November 15 (or November 1 for Early Decision I).
- Merit Scholarship Consideration: Answer "yes" to the question regarding merit scholarship consideration on the application.

- SAT: 700+ Evidence-based Reading and Writing score
- ACT: 30+ English subset score

- Proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses (e.g., bank statement).
