The 2026 Echidna Global Scholars Program is now accepting applications. This six-month fellowship is hosted by the Center for Universal Education (CUE) at Brookings and aims to support mid-career leaders from the Global South working to improve gender-transformative education. The program focuses on research, leadership development, policy skills, and expanding impact pathways.

✅ Echidna Global Scholars Program Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Be from and intend to return to a Global South country.
• Hold a Master’s degree or higher in education, development, public policy, economics, or related fields.
• Have 10+ years of professional experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English and a strong commitment to gender equity in education.
