✅ Eligibility Criteria
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, applicants must:
- Hold a first university degree with 180 ECTS (or an equivalent qualification).
- Have a minimum of 15 ECTS credits in Economics. For applicants outside the ECTS system, at least three Economics-related modules are required.
- Provide proof of English proficiency. If English was the language of instruction for your previous degree, no further proof is required.
Requirements for DAAD Scholarship
Applicants must:
- Be from a developing country.
- Have at least two years of professional experience since graduation.

Submit the Online Application
Complete and submit the online form during the application period (July–September). Note: Applications are handled by HTW Berlin, and Uni-Assist is not required.
Required Documents
Applicants must attach the following electronic documents:
- Letter of Motivation
- Maximum two pages, personally signed and dated, explaining your motivation for applying and your academic and career goals.
- Transcript of Records and Degree Certificate(s)
- Include your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). If not in English or German, provide official translations.
- Grading System Explanation
- Indicate the highest possible grade and the minimum passing grade at your university.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- In Europass format, signed and dated.
- Copy of Passport.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency.
Scholarship Application
To apply for the DAAD scholarship:
- Complete the relevant section in the MIDE application form.
- Submit additional required documents.
- Both the MIDE and DAAD applications will be processed by HTW Berlin.

Admission to the program is based on the following criteria:
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): 40%
- Number of Economics Courses Taken: 25%
- Letter of Motivation: 35%
