📅 Application Date and Process

1. Initial Review:

   • Proposed projects within Cure Parkinson’s funding scope will be reviewed by the independent research committee, which meets quarterly.
   • Stage 1 applications will be evaluated to determine if they align with the programme's remit.

2. Stage 2 Application:

   • If approved in Stage 1, applicants will be invited to submit a full application (Stage 2).
   • Stage 2 applications will undergo external peer review.

3. Final Decision:

   • Feedback from expert reviews will be discussed at the next quarterly Research Committee meeting.
   • A recommendation will be made to Cure Parkinson’s trustees for final approval.

4. Notification:

   • All applicants (successful and unsuccessful) will be notified by the chair of the Research Committee or a Cure Parkinson’s representative.
