🏢 About CERN Technical Student Programme

If you are an undergraduate student in Applied Physics, Engineering, or Computing, and are looking for a practical training period or a place to complete your final project, this programme is for you. You could spend 4 to 12 months at CERN in Geneva during the course of your studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

This programme is ideal for students whose universities or institutes require or encourage them to acquire work experience through an internship.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the CERN Technical Student Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
Have completed at least 18 months of undergraduate studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Remain registered as a full-time student during the internship at CERN.
Have a good knowledge of English or French.
Proof of English language proficiency is not required.
