โ Eligibility Criteria
- Interdisciplinary Approach: Applications must demonstrate a genuinely interdisciplinary approach through international research collaboration. Novel thinking is encouraged.
- Principal Investigator (PI):
- Must be a researcher from the humanities and social sciences.
- Based at an eligible UK university or research institute.
- Hold an established role lasting at least the duration of the award.
- Must be of postdoctoral or above status (or have equivalent research experience).
- Plan to spend at least 20% of their time (0.2 FTE equivalent) on the award.
- Co-Applicants: Involvement of Co-Applicants based overseas is required.
- Collaboration Across Disciplines:
- The PI must be from the humanities or social sciences.
- Collaboration across disciplines (SHAPE or STEM) is required, with research led by and grounded in the humanities and/or social sciences.
- Applications that fail to meet this requirement will be deemed ineligible.
