✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Interdisciplinary Approach: Applications must demonstrate a genuinely interdisciplinary approach through international research collaboration. Novel thinking is encouraged.
• Principal Investigator (PI):
  • Must be a researcher from the humanities and social sciences.
  • Based at an eligible UK university or research institute.
  • Hold an established role lasting at least the duration of the award.
  • Must be of postdoctoral or above status (or have equivalent research experience).
  • Plan to spend at least 20% of their time (0.2 FTE equivalent) on the award.
• Co-Applicants: Involvement of Co-Applicants based overseas is required.
• Collaboration Across Disciplines:
  • The PI must be from the humanities or social sciences.
  • Collaboration across disciplines (SHAPE or STEM) is required, with research led by and grounded in the humanities and/or social sciences.
  • Applications that fail to meet this requirement will be deemed ineligible.
