📖 About BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program

BMO is a strong supporter of the advancement of women. Since 2012, BMO has recognized the achievements and contributions of over 265 women through the BMO Celebrating Women Program. In collaboration with Deloitte, the BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program aims to provide an additional source of financial support to women-owned businesses.

This year, the program's goal is to recognize 10 women-owned businesses and support their sustainability-focused initiatives with grant funding. As part of their purpose to "Boldly Grow the Good in Business and Life," BMO invites women-owned businesses to submit applications demonstrating how their businesses address 2-3 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

🎁 Benefits of the Program

Ten (10) Canadian women-owned businesses will be selected to receive:

A grant of $10,000 CAD.
An invitation to join an in-person summit to celebrate their achievements and expand their professional network.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

For the Applicant

The applicant must:

Have the authority to participate in this program on behalf of the business.
Be a resident of Canada.
Have reached the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence.

For the Business

The business must:

Be 51% or more owned and controlled by individuals who self-identify as women or non-binary individuals.
Be a for-profit business that has been in operation for at least two (2) years as of August 5, 2025.
Be an active and operational business that complies with all applicable laws, licenses, and regulations in Canada.
Have an annual revenue of at least $50,000 CAD.
Generate 50% or more of its annual revenue from business sales with Canadian businesses and/or consumers.
Have its head office or principal place of business located in any province or territory of Canada.
