Belfast Legacy Award to Attend the One Young World Summit 2025
📖 About the Belfast Legacy Award
One Young World is proud to have brought its Summit to Belfast in 2023, recognized by both the City of Belfast and the UK Government as an official part of the celebrations surrounding the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. The 2023 Summit hosted discussions reflecting on the Troubles, the Good Friday Agreement, and the future of Northern Ireland.
To build on the momentum generated by the historic 2023 Summit, the Belfast Legacy Award was first launched in 2024 to support young leaders from Northern Ireland making a tangible impact in their communities. For 2025, in collaboration with Belfast City Council, the award will provide five individuals living and/or making an impact in Belfast the opportunity to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, from November 3–6, 2025.

🎁 Benefits of the Belfast Legacy Award
Scholars will receive the following benefits:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.
- Hotel accommodation in Munich from November 3–6, 2025 (inclusive).
- Economy travel to and from Munich, provided by Belfast City Council.
- Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Belfast Legacy Award, candidates must:
- Be an existing One Young World Ambassador or an employee of Belfast City Council.
- Have a track record of creating tangible impact within their communities and/or across Belfast.
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to engaging with the One Young World Community.
