📖 About the Opportunity

As part of its commitment to research and the enhancement of scientific knowledge on the promotion of girls' and women's education in Africa, the African Union International Centre for the Education of Girls and Women in Africa (AU/CIEFFA) is launching a call for proposals for scientific articles. This initiative is aimed at researchers working at the intersection of gender equality and education in Africa.

Objectives of the Call:

• Encourage the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge on AU/CIEFFA's four strategic axes.
• Promote in-depth reflection on the challenges and opportunities in girls' and women's education in Africa.
• Support the formulation of policy recommendations based on empirical evidence and rigorous analysis.
• Stimulate innovation and the exchange of ideas among researchers working on girls' and women's education in Africa.
• Contribute to the overall knowledge production and research agenda in Africa.
