To qualify for the ADB Young Professional Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a national of an ADB member country.
  2. Hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
  3. Have a university degree in one of the following fields:
    • Economics
    • Finance
    • Business Administration
    • Engineering
    • Environment
    • Law
    • Social Sciences
    • Public Policy
    • Or a related field
  4. A postgraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.
  5. Have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience (internships can count as work experience).
  6. Experience in areas related to ADB’s operations is advantageous.
  7. Be under 32 years old at the time of joining ADB.
  8. Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English.
