📖 About the Fellowship

The Anarchists United Writers Discovery Fellowship is a six-month program designed to help emerging writers break into the television and storytelling industry.

🎁 Benefits

Participants of the fellowship will receive the following benefits:

• Development of a submission-ready TV pilot.
• Participation in mock general meetings and pitch sessions.
• Access to informational panels with TV professionals.
• Multiple networking opportunities.
• Each Fellow receives a $10,000 stipend.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Submit the TV pilot you plan to develop during the fellowship.
• Only one application per person is allowed.
• Previous applicants may reapply if they still meet the criteria.
• Must not be a member of the WGA (Writers Guild of America).
• Must be U.S.-based.
• For 2026, writers with representation are now eligible (new rule).

❌ Who Cannot Apply

The following individuals are not eligible to apply:

• Writers who are current WGA members.
• Applicants outside the United States.
• Those without a TV pilot project ready to submit.
