🏆 About The Alpine Fellowship Music Prize

The Alpine Fellowship Foundation awards the Music Prize for developing the best musical composition based on the Alpine Fellowship's 2026 theme of JOY.

• Sponsor Organisation: Alpine Fellowship
• The winner will receive funds to help compose their planned piece, while runners-up will receive grants to cover their travel expenses to the symposium in 2026.

• Awarded for the best musical or compositional response on the theme of JOY.

Financial Support:

• First place: £3,000
• Second place: £1,000
• Third place: £1,000

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open internationally to all nationalities.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Must compose and perform new music (instrumental or vocal, any genre/style).
• Work must be no longer than 20 minutes and playable live at the symposium.
• Acoustic performance recommended due to limited technical equipment.

1. A brief summary of your music experience or CV.
2. A video of yourself performing your chosen piece (production quality is not a concern; the focus is on your abilities and style).
3. The lyrics/sheet music or any other written supporting information.
