📖 About the Fellowships

The Akademie Schloss Solitude Fellowships provide space for concentrated work, interdisciplinary exchange, and international networking. These fellowships contribute to an open, diverse, and globally connected cultural landscape in Baden-Württemberg and Germany.

The fellowship is open-ended in terms of results, while also offering the possibility of on-site events, including collaborations with other cultural institutions in Stuttgart and the region.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to individuals with 2 to 10 years of independent practice after completing their training, regardless of age.
• Collectives of up to two people may apply, provided they have been working together for at least two years.
• Not eligible:
  • Applicants still in training or studies (except for PhD candidates)
  • Individuals holding a permanent professorship
• Working languages: German and/or English (house language: English)
