The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is inviting applications for its Master of Mathematical Sciences for Teachers (MMST) Program 2026. This two-year program is designed to enhance the mathematical and pedagogical skills of teachers across Africa.

The AIMS MMST is a professional program aimed at current mathematics teachers in Africa. It provides participants with an opportunity to:
- Deepen their understanding of mathematical foundations related to core secondary school curricula.

โ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelorโs degree with sufficient mathematical background.
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Be currently teaching mathematics at the Junior or Senior High School level (Grade 7-12) in an African country.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Post-secondary transcripts and certificates.
- Consent and support letter from the Head Teacher of the applicantโs school.
- Details of two referees, one of whom must be from the school where the applicant is currently teaching. Referees must submit their references directly via the application portal.
