2026 World Bank Treasury Summer Internship Program
π About the Program
The Treasury Summer Internship Program is a junior professional training initiative designed to develop the skills necessary for an exciting and rewarding career in the financial industry. This program aims to bring exceptional college students with a demonstrated interest in a financial career to support the World Bankβs development mandate.
Interns are expected to be in their second-to-last year of the equivalent of a four-year college degree program. The internship lays the foundation to become a Junior Analyst, a two-year position on one Treasury team, immediately after the intern graduates from their degree program.
Since its inception, the Summer Internship Program has hosted over 70 students, achieving an equal gender balance, representing over 30 nationalities, and including both US- and non-US-based students from every region of the world. Interns work with colleagues from over 60 countries in Treasury alone, gaining valuable experience in a uniquely diverse workplace.
