✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Requirements:

  1. Be enrolled in an MD or DO program (or equivalent) at the time of application and expect to complete at least one clinical year before the fellowship starts.
  2. Be enrolled in a residency program.

Additional Criteria:

  • Demonstrate interest in engaging in discussions with co-fellows and faculty.
  • Possess the intellectual and emotional maturity to responsibly address complex and controversial issues.
  • Open to applicants of all religious, political, socioeconomic backgrounds, and gender identities.
  • FASPE seeks fellows with diverse interests and backgrounds, including those pursuing careers in practicing medicine, research, or public health.
  • Selection is based on academic background, personal and professional experiences, leadership capacity, and the ability to contribute to the program and alumni community.
