📖 About WeThinkCode_ Software Development Programme

WeThinkCode_ is a South African software development academy established in 2015, with its first cohort launched in 2016 in Johannesburg. Over the years, it has expanded to Cape Town (2018) and Durban (2021), and now delivers its curriculum at public technical vocational education and training (TVET) colleges across South Africa.

The academy addresses the technical skills shortage and youth unemployment by recruiting talented youth and providing specialized training. In just 16 months, participants are transformed into proficient backend developers through a tailored curriculum and learning system.
