The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC), with support from the European Union (EU), is offering a 10-week full-time internship program for young Nigerians. This program provides an opportunity to gain knowledge of legislative practices and processes at the National Assembly.

💼 Benefits of the Internship Program
- Stipend: Covers transportation and lunch costs within Abuja.
- Accommodation: Interns must arrange their own accommodation and bear relocation costs if necessary.
- Note: Applicants should be able to reside in Abuja for the internship duration.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen aged between 21 and 35 years.
- Hold at least a first degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme.
- Possess good English writing and speaking skills.
- Demonstrate good computer skills.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills.
📝 Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the internship:

- Complete the web application form and upload your CV in Microsoft Word format.
- Your CV should include:
- State of origin
- Date of birth
- NYSC service location
- Add a Statement of Interest/Purpose (maximum 300 words) on the last page of your CV.
- Ensure the CV and Statement of Purpose are combined into one document (not exceeding two pages).
- Your CV should include:
- Complete the accompanying Pre-Screening Assessment Form.
- Copy and paste the Statement of Purpose from your CV into the online application form.
Important Notes:
- Applications must be submitted before midnight on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
- Late submissions or applications that do not follow the procedure will not be considered.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
