π Benefits of the BRICS Young Innovators Prize Competition
Successful participants will receive the following prizes (subject to verification and compliance with rules):
- First Prize: $25,000 USD
- Second Prize: $15,000 USD
- Third Prize: $10,000 USD
π Requirements
Project Requirements
- Projects must be innovative.
- Must be in the pre-market stage (not available for widespread consumer acquisition or public offering). Accepted phases include limited product testing, non-serial production, certification, or preparation for market launch.
- Projects should address significant social, economic, developmental, or environmental challenges and offer innovative solutions to improve the quality of life in BRICS societies.
- Corporate innovations are not accepted (e.g., projects developed by employees of a technology company). Projects must not be merged with or in the process of merging with any technology company.
Participant Requirements
- Candidates must be under the age of 40 by December 31, 2025.
- Candidates must be the initial authors of the submitted project.
- Candidates must be affiliated with BRICS countries by nationality (born or naturalized) or residency (permanent residency visa).
- Only one project may be submitted per candidate.
Submission Requirements
- Application Form (completed, signed, and dated).
- Nomineeβs Curriculum Vitae/Biography.
- Photo of the nominee (image must be larger than 250x300 pixels).
- Information and research data pertaining to the submitted innovative project (may include Microsoft Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, photos, and video materials).
π Application Date and Process
The application form must include:
- Nomineeβs details/information.
- Nomination Statement (up to 300 words).
- Innovative Project Statement (up to 300 words).
- Information on participation in innovation awards/competitions/achievements.
- All personal and project information must be submitted in English.
Important Notes
- The application form cannot be changed after submission.
- The organizers reserve the right to reject submissions without notice, including cases of false registration information or non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
- Selected projects will be presented to an adjudication panel during the 8th BRICS Young Innovator Prize, where winners will be chosen based on established criteria.
- Participants will be required to present their projects to an expert panel comprising jury members designated by BRICS member states.
