Dr. Ginette Okoye (née Hinds) is a Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Howard University College of Medicine. Her areas of clinical and research expertise include:
- Cutaneous disorders affecting people with pigmented skin
- Hidradenitis suppurativa
- Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
- Alopecia

Publications and Awards
Dr. Okoye has published numerous scientific papers and a textbook on the science of textured hair, titled "The Fundamentals of Ethnic Hair." She has been recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology with several awards:
