ISES and ABENS, the Brazilian Association for Solar Energy and the official ISES section in Brazil, are thrilled to announce the ISES Solar World Congress 2025 (SWC 2025). This prestigious event will take place in Fortaleza, Brazil, a country renowned for its commitment to renewable energy.
Why Brazil?
Brazil is a leader in renewable energy, with almost 50% of its overall energy consumption derived from renewable sources. Impressively, over 85% of Brazil's electricity consumption comes from hydropower, biomass, wind, and solar energy. In 2022, Brazil ranked 3rd in the international renewable power installed capacity, 4th in the global PV market, and 10th in PV installed capacity.
