The Department of Bioethics and Humanities invites you to the 37th annual Summer Seminar in Healthcare Ethics. This year, the conference will be hosted online with live discussions featuring experts and small group case studies.
Seminar Overview
The annual Summer Seminar offers an intensive, interactive introduction to the 'four-box method' of analysis for ethical problems in clinical ethics. This method was developed by Jonsen, Siegler, and Winslade in their book Clinical Ethics. The seminar also covers elements of the Core Competencies in Health Care Ethics Consultation and can assist attendees in preparing for the healthcare ethics consultation certification exam.
